Wedding Flowers: Carnations

Different factors influence once choice of the flowers they choose for their wedding from colour combination to symbolism to type to price. It is always advisable to know the meaning of flowers before settling for the type.
I will not call it bias but here's my favorite flower the 'Carnation' I love the white one especially. This type of flower is budget friendly and comes in a variety of colors and is also verstaile . Check out some of their meanings below:

CARNATION, WHITE: A white carnation symbolizes faithfulness, innocence, sweetness,  ardent love, faithfulness, sweet and lovely, pure love,  good luck. These lovely flowers have lasting qualities.

CARNATION: Fascination, distinction, divine love, woman, yes.

CARNATION, PINK: A woman's love, I'll never forget you, mother's love.

CARNATION, PURPLE: Capriciousness/ unpredictability.

CARNATION, RED:  admiration, my heart aches for you, friendship, pride, fascination.

CARNATION, STRIPED: Rejection.

CARNATION, YELLOW: Disdain, rejection, you have disappointed me.

So avoid yellow and striped carnations since their meaning doesn't go too well with a wedding. On the other hand, white, pink red carnations are a good  choice.
You can combine the flowers with other types such as roses, gyp, bear grass for a great bouquet.
